🏀 Edmeston will host two varsity Section IV second round sectional games this Friday and Saturday. Admission is free for both games, and we encourage all fans to attend and support our Panthers!

Due to an influx in illness; Edmeston Central School will be using an emergency day Monday January 29th. This will provide our custodial staff time to do a deep clean of the building. It will also provide our students and staff time to rest and get healthy.
The JV/Varsity girls game scheduled for tomorrow night are postponed. Tri-town orange crush night has been moved to Wednesday. All other activities are cancelled for Monday.
ECS is on a one-hour delay, today, January 24. There will still be AM BOCES.
ECS students, Braymon Clark, Brooke Carentz, Chelsey Clegg, Hunter Dye, Taryn Lund and Gavin McEnroe, participated in Student Voices, Student Choices and were awarded a check for $1000.00 to support a partnership with Pathfinder Village and Otsego Academy focusing on inclusion. Today, Jeff Katz presented the check on behalf of the Community Foundation of Otsego County. A special thank you to the ECS School Board, ECS Administration, Pathfinder Village Staff, Otsego Academy Students, Jeff Katz and Tim Lord Co-Executive Directors of the Community Foundation of Otsego County, and Laura Porter for her contributions to the greater Edmeston community.

Mt. Markham has extended an invitation to our students and families for the Harlem Wizards at Mt. Markham CSD on Monday January 22nd. Tickets and additional information are on the flyer below!
Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 16, The ECS National Honor Society is taking part in a plastic bag recycling challenge put on by the OCCA (Otsego County Conservation Association). During this challenge we are asking students to bring in empty and clean plastic bags from home to recycle. The list of acceptable items can be found on the flyer below, the flyer we are sending home to PreK-6 students, or on the walls of ECS hallways starting on Friday. Thank you for your support!
