On Saturday May 21st, students in grades 1-8 will have an opportunity to attend Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC). This is a FREE activity for our students! During our first visit this spring students in grades 1-4th will get to pick one of the following activities:
- Create Art-using food, paint and play-dough
- Robots-work in a team to create a moving robot using WeDo 2.0
- Fab Lab-small-scale workshop where students will use industrial-grade fabrication equipment to participate in a hands-on engineering and mechanical experience.
Our 5th-8th grade students will select one of the following:
- Physics and Engineering
- Computer Graphics-using 2D Vector illustration, photo manipulator and basics of 3D art.
If your child(ren) are still interested in attending our session on Saturday, April 2nd, please send in a permission slip to Mrs. Nichols by Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
** Saturday is our final trip to MVCC. The bus will be leaving the school at 9:30 as the students are returning to the main campus. The students will depart MVCC at 2:30 and return to ECS at approximately 3:30. **
