Mrs. Tina Baker

I am a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. I have worked in Edmeston over the past 8 years through BOCES. I am very excited to be in Edmeston full time this year!! I have 20 years experience working within a variety of school settings.  People often say I play all day, and that is true!!! However, every game and activity is geared to meet the needs of a specific student and to build their skills. I work with primarily elementary aged students through middle school. I also support the teachers at ECS in a variety of ways.  Occupational Therapy works to improve fine motor skills, visual motor skills, handwriting, physical needs, improving independence with activities of daily living, self-regulation, sensory needs, and strengthening; to name just a few. The role of Occupational Therapy is to help a student be successful and as independent as possible within their educational setting..
