Dear Edmeston Families,
I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Pam Grimm and I am the Director of Special Education for the Edmeston Central School District. I relocated to Oneonta, NY, from Colorado in 2012 for my husband’s job and the opportunity to live near my family again. I was born and raised in Sayre, PA, and Edmeston fondly reminds me of my hometown. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English from Nazareth College of Rochester and started teaching in North Carolina upon graduation. I continued my education at Appalachian State University in North Carolina where I earned my Master’s Degree in Special Education. Throughout my tenure of teaching I have been a middle school Language Arts teacher, middle and high school Special Education teacher, and served in various leadership roles including RTI and PBIS. I recently completed the Educational Ledaership Program at Niagara University and now hold my School Building Leader and School District Leader Certifications in NY State.
In the past four years at Edmeston I have enjoyed working with the entire staff in my roles as CSE/CPSE Chair, 504 Compliance Office, RTI Chair, and PBIS Co-chair. My main goal in my work is to make certain each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential while at ECS. Parents know their children better than anyone and I am open to any suggestions, advice, or ideas you may have for me regarding your child too. You can contact me by calling the school at 607-965-8931 or by sending an email to email@example.com.
I am looking forward to another fantastic year at ECS and am excited about all we will accomplish together in the upcoming school year!
